Fáilte

On Behalf of Cuala, we would like to extend a warm welcome to the players, Mentors and families from  Whitehall Columcilles,  Ballinteer St Johns Castleknock – three worthy teams representing three great hurling clubs.

At Cuala, we are honoured to have been chosen to host the Division 2 Hurling Feile and can assure you we will do our utmost to repeat the success we enjoyed when staging of the Football competition earlier in the month. If there is anything we can do to help make your visit more enjoyable please let us know – though were sure you’ll understand that this offer is limited to your experience beyond the field on play.  We hope you all have an enjoyable weekend and that, regardless of any individual team result,  every player leaves Thomastown feeling they gave of their best during this special festival of U14 Hurling.

This year marks a special milestone in the development of Juvenile Hurling for Cuala. We have the unique distinction of fielding 3 teams in the hurling competition so we extend our very best wishes to our two travelling Cuala teams.  Our Second squad heads north to Finglas where they compete for Div 4  Féile honours with hosts Erins Isle, Thomas Davis and Raheny.   Our Third team goes west to Lucan where hosts Lucan Sarsfields, St Marks and St Brigids will compete in Div 6.

To all our players we say we know how hard each of you have trained, that you’ll be wearing the Cuala jersey with pride and that you will all  ‘be the very best that you can be’.  Go néiri an tadh libh go léir

Parking

Back to Thomastown, visitors to our  grounds at Sallynoggin/Glenageary can view directions on this map.  If you are arriving by car, the Gardaí have directed that you not park on Thomastown Road (R118) and we would also appreciate if the roads immediately adjacent to the grounds were kept free to avoid disturbance to neighbours and to ensure emergency services are not disrupted.  We have arranged a special Féile Car Park nearby in Sallynoggin Community College. This is marked on the map and is only 4 minutes walk away.  The Route from Rochestown Avenue will be signposted.

Bus drop-offs (but not parking) are allowed on Thomastown Road – approach from Kiliney S.C. (Graduate Pub)

Our Féile Coordinator is Damian McKeown and you can contact him on 086 3855133 for any enquiries
