Cuala is committed to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for all young people who participate in its activities. We do our utmost to take all practicable steps to protect them from discernable forms of abuse, harm, discrimination or degrading treatment and respect their rights, wishes and feelings.To this end, we are confident that everyone involved in Cuala will welcome the appointment of Zita McDermott, Colman Ó Drisceoil and Fintan Quill as Cuala Childrens Officers. These appointments are central to the Clubs policy on Child Welfare and we would ask everyone involved with the club to support and cooperate with them in their important duties. As an elected Coiste member, Zita will assume special responsibility for Child Welfare at Club Executive level. We wish Zita, Colman and Fintan every success in their new roles.
