It’s a big week for Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football at underage level and Cuala girls are at the heart of it. We are very proud to announce that we have 4 girls from Cuala on the Dublin U16s squad who have reached the ALL IRELAND FINAL and play Kerry this Wed 27th at 7pm in Nenagh. The Cuala girls involved are Jessica Connolly (U15), Eimear Loughlin (U16), Grainne O Drisceoil (U15) and Sinead Wylde (U16).
The Dublin Minor team have also reached the ALL IRELAND FINAL and play Cork on the 1st August at 4.45 in Glennon Bros. Pearse Park, Longford. The Cuala girls on the Dublin Minor squad are Jennifer Dunne, Billy Kate Huggard and Hannah O’Dea.
The involvement of so many Cuala girls at U16 and Minor level for Dublin in two All-Ireland finals is a testament to the hard work put in by so many mentors and players in the Juvenile girls section over many years and a great sign for the future of Ladies Football in the club.
