Women in Cuala Event

Cuala is inviting all women associated with the club – past and present players, parents, coaches, officers, and supporters to come together for a relaxed evening of conversation and connection.

Over the past few years, the number of girls and women playing and volunteering in Cuala has grown enormously and females represent just under 50% of our registered players. Yet, when it comes to team management and coaching, women are still under-represented. This evening is about hearing your experiences and ideas on how we can change that – together.

You don’t need to be coaching or involved in a team to take part. Whether you’re curious, have ideas to share, or simply want to listen, your perspective matters. The insights gathered on the night will be shared with An Coiste and the Coaching and Game Development Group, to shape our next steps for supporting women in Cuala.

📅 When: Wednesday, November 26th, 8:00–9:30 pm
📍 Where: The Graduate, Rochestown Avenue
👥 Who: All women aged 18 + connected to Cuala
💬 What to Expect: A friendly, informal chat with refreshments, facilitated by Eimear Dignam, Regional Development Officer with Coiste Átha Cliath, who has over 20 years’ experience supporting women’s involvement in sport.

Please register to attend by filling out this form.

Or to find out more, contact Coaching Officer, Michael Hogan: coaching.officer@cualagaa.ie.

Let’s share ideas and experiences, and shape the future of women’s sport in Cuala.
