Dublin Maths Christmas Course

Dublin Maths are running their annual Christmas Crash Course on the 29th and 30th of December. It’s a six hour programme designed to help students get ahead over the break. As partners, all club members get 10% off and half of all proceeds go directly back into the club. So if your son or daughter is finding maths challenging, this is a great chance to boost their confidence & grades while also supporting the club. You can use code: cualagaa

You can book the Crash Course here: https://dublinmaths.ie/crash-course?aff=Cuala+GAA

If you feel they’d benefit more from one to one grinds instead of the course, you can sign them up here: https://dublinmaths.ie/1-1-maths-grinds?aff=Cuala+GAA. The proceeds still go straight back into the club, so if you were planning on getting extra help anyway, this is a win for everyone.

U16 Girls Transition to Minor

The 2009 Girls enjoyed a very special evening on Thursday, 20 November 2025, as they marked their transition from Juvenile to Minor with a graduation celebration attended by players and their parents/guardians.

It was an emotional and memorable night. This group shares a unique bond and player retention has always been a core value, something we are proud to say has been achieved, with 39 players moving forward to Minor. A number of well-deserved thank-yous were shared on the night, especially to the coaches, FLOs and parents who have supported the girls every step of the way. Each player received a skills recognition award along with a team photograph as a memento of their 09 journey.

Over the years, this group has achieved many wins. They signed off from the Juvenile section on a high, with both our A and B camogie teams winning their Shield finals and both football teams reaching the semi-final stage, narrowly losing out to strong opposition.

As they now progress into the Minor section, exciting times lie ahead for this talented group. Please join us in thanking an exceptional team of mentors, coaches and FLOs whose dedication has played a major role in this squad’s success.

Separately, congratulations to the U16 Red Camogie team (pictured below) who won their U16 Div 2 Shield Final last Saturday against St Kevins 6-02 to 1-05 in Meadowvale with a strong team display.  Big thanks to the 2010 for their support. The U16s celebrated this win in their last match before they transition to minor girls.

Oíche na hÓige

The Cuala Sports and Social Integration Project organised a social event last Saturday for our 2010 boys and girls along with young people from Ukraine and other countries as part of the Oíche na hÓige initiative. Oíche na hÓige is a new initiative by the Department of Education and Youth that shines a light on the vibrant and diverse network of youth clubs and services at the heart of communities across Ireland, where young people learn together, develop, and flourish.

The event at Cuala included some fun and challenging activities based on The Cube TV show, as well as  food and spot prizes, and was a great opportunity for the young people to socialise together. A huge thanks to Damian Byrne of the Sports and Social Integration Project and the mentors of the 2010 groups for organising what was a hugely successful evening.

U16 Camogie Div 6 Winners

Congratulations to the U16 White Camogie team who won their U16 Div 6 Shield Final last Sunday against Naomh Bríd 2-03 to 1-01. Thanks to Cyril Mulcahy for the photos of clearly happy players, parents and mentors as they celebrated this fitting win in their last match before they transition to minor girls next year.

U13 Camogie Winners

Huge congratulations to two of our U13 girls teams who secured wins in respective finals last weekend. The B team (pictured above) claimed the Division 6 Championship title after beating Na Fianna in a thrilling final in St. Lawrence’s. Meanwhile the D team (pictured below) won the Division 11 Shield in their final against Ballinteer in Marlay Park.

U11 Girls Attend Donaghamore Ashbourne GAA Blitz

Our U11 girls were welcomed to Donaghamore Ashbourne GAA club last Saturday for the Ciaran Benville Memorial Day GoGames Blitz. The annual event aims to get clubs to come together in memory of Ciaran, a Donaghmore Ashbourne clubman who served as Meath Juvenile County Chairman, as well as Chairperson of the Meath GAA Youth and Coiste Go Games Committees.

The blitz featured U11 teams playing hurling, camogie and football, as well as having a lot of fun. A huge thank you to everyone at Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA for all the organisation, the warm welcome, the bbq lunch and snacks.

Leinster U10 Blitz St. Lomans Mullingar

A group of Cuala U10 girls travelled to St. Lomans Mullingar on Saturday today to play in the club’s sixth annual LGFA U10 Leinster blitz. Some 24 teams from 18 clubs across seven counties took part in the event, with all games played by each team against teams from another county, adding to the novelty of the event. In total more than 350 girls played in the blitz. Refreshments were provided in the St. Lomans clubhouse, including a tuck shop and cake sale run by the St. Lomans senior ladies team who are current Westmeath County Champions. A huge thanks to all the organisers especially our hosts St. Lomans.

Our U10 girls are pictured above in Mullingar in their new jerseys sponsored by Dublin Maths.

Cuala Bualadh

June 29th, Cuala GAA U13 girls were proud to host their second annual Cuala Bualadh -a joyous celebration of our U13 girls’ Gaelic football teams and the wider Gaelic games community. The event welcomed teams from across the country, including Kildare, Wicklow, Limerick, Derry, and Dublin, bringing together players, coaches, parents, and supporters for a day of spirited competition and camaraderie.

The Cuala Bualadh is about much more than just matches. It’s a showcase of the values at the heart of Cuala—teamwork, respect, inclusion, and a deep love for the game. The progress made by our girls this year was on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and development.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to all visiting teams for joining us and contributing to the vibrant energy of the day. Their participation brought great spirit to the pitch, and helped create unforgettable memories for everyone involved.

A special word of thanks to Emer O Sullivan and Ali Dinniss and to all the parents and supporters, whose encouragement and positivity play such a vital role in our players’ experiences. Finally to the players themselves—thank you for playing with passion, for supporting one another, and for showing the true spirit of Gaelic games.
To everyone who helped make Cuala Bualadh 2025 such a success, go raibh míle maith agaibh.
