2011 Boys Féile campaign

The 2011 Cuala Féile squad commenced their 2026 campaign with a special presentation evening on Friday, January 30th. The event, held in the Halla, marked the official launch of the group’s Féile year and celebrated the efforts of players, parents and the wider community.

Senior players Tom Magee, Conor O’Brien,  Diarmuid O’Flynn, Cormac Spain and Jack Twomey were in attendance to present each of the 75 boys with their personalised Féile kit and gear bag. Their presence added a sense of occasion and pride to an already memorable evening.

This milestone was made possible through the exceptional work of the Féile 2026 fundraising committee – Seán Costello, Susie Cunningham, Jenny Quinn, Paul Loughrey,  Edward Monaghan, Ann Maria Lucey, Mark Hussey, Paula Roche and Denis Lucey. Their dedication, professionalism and teamwork resulted in a record level of support for the group. We also acknowledge with gratitude the very generous contributions of our corporate sponsors.

Our thanks to the many local businesses, whose generosity has greatly strengthened the programme.

With strong participation numbers, Cuala will field three teams in both hurling and football. The group faces an intensive schedule of approximately 30 fixtures over the coming 10 weeks. Despite early weather challenges, competition has already begun, and we look forward to reporting on the team’s progress throughout the campaign.

We wish the 2011 boys every success as they represent Cuala with commitment, teamwork and pride.
