I bhforbairt an-dearfach, tá Bord Rialachais Tionscadail Chomhairle Contae Dhún Laoghaire-Ráth an Dúin (CCDLR) tar éis a chead a thabhairt dul ar aghaidh le tógáil an fhoirgnimh a chur amach ar tairiscint, rud a léiríonn tacaíocht leanúnach an údaráis áitiúil.

Tá cead ón Roinn Spóirt de dhith comh maith. Tá sé curtha in iúl acu gur cuireadh moill orthu, ach go bhfuil oifigeach atá cáilithe go cuí ceaptha acu anois chun dul ar aghaidh leis an bpróiseas ceadaithe.

The next milestone in the Home4Cuala project is tendering for the construction of the building. This will be done in compliance with public procurement rules, which are very prescriptive in how the process is conducted to ensure it is fair and competitive.

The Design Team have been working hard on this, and have now completed all the drawings. The bills of materials are being prepared; this is important information to allow construction firms price the work.

In a very positive development, DLRCC Project Governance Board has approved proceeding to tender. This helps sustain momentum and demonstrates the ongoing support of our local authority for the project.

Department of Sports approval is also required to tender the construction. They have flagged that they have been delayed by a staffing issue, though they have now appointed a suitably qualified officer to proceed with the approval process.
