About Juvenile Girls / Faoi Chailíní Óga

Our Juvenile Girls section caters for girls from ages Under 10 to Under 16. Our aim is to provide our players with a safe and positive environment in which they can enjoy and learn gaelic games, be challenged to reach their sporting potential, and make friends and have fun as they do so. New players are always welcome, no matter what their skill level.

We field teams in Dublin LGFA and Dublin Camogie Association Go Game competitions up to U12, and in League and Championship competitions from U13 to U16. A highlight of the Juvenile section calendar are the Féile annual All-Ireland club festivals in camogie and football that take place at U15 age level.

Within the club, we run seasonal Advanced Camogie and Football camps for our juvenile girls to progress their skills and have fun during school holidays. Juvenile girls who are in Transition Year, can also participate in the extensive Cuala TY programme. From the age of 16 juvenile girls can avail of opportunities to train in camp coaching or as Go Games referees.

The success of our Juvenile Girls section is dependent on the enthusiastic participation of parents/guardians in coaching, mentoring and other volunteer roles, and we always encourage parents/guardians to get involved. All our volunteers are Garda vetted and have taken child protection and coaching courses appropriate to their age group. Juvenile girls are represented on the Club Executive by the Juvenile Girls Chairperson whose current details are listed below.

If your daughter is interested in joining, contact the lead coach/mentor at the appropriate age group for them from the contact page (link below).
