PTSB Senior Football Championship Final

The Big Football Weekend may be a week away, but the preparation is already on full throttle.
There is tremendous pride, not just in the football section but across the club, that Cuala has teams in strong contention for football Championship honours, at all 3 grades – Senior, Intermediate and Junior. Add in the hurlers who are also on a championship run and it’s some championship year for the club. Unprecedented is the word !!!
Putting it mildly, it’s going to be busy around Hyde next weekend as the club is hosting 2 football championship semi-finals with the Intermediate SF on Saturday evening and the Junior 1 SF on Sunday morning. And that is before the Senior match build up is taken into consideration where we expect supporters will start to congregate from late Sunday morning.
Note the Junior semi-final throw in time on Sunday has changed to 10.30.
Match Day (weekend) Organisation.
We are still working on all the ideas and plans for the weekend but will include:
• Pre-match arrangements and activities
• Post-match arrangements and activities.
• Transport – there will be a special Cuala DART – info on times and to buy tickets will be announced and broadcast as soon as details are confirmed but will be early days of next week.
• Flags / Banners / Posters – all being worked in to ensure Hyde and Dalkey and the wider Cuala catchment area is well informed to join the noise and support the club.
• Volunteers – as there is a heavy workload we will gladly welcome any help if you can lend a hand in any way.
Specific details and updates will be circulated across the usual club communication channels (WhatsApp, social media etc) as they are confirmed so keep an eye.
Match Details
The poster above has the match fixtures well covered and while the Senior Final is the big one, the 2 semi-finals on Saturday evening and Sunday morning deserve equal support. Getting to one final is fantastic, getting to 2 finals would be superb but getting to 3 finals …. well, that would be the dream outcome.
To sign off we are asking all club members (and family and friends) to join in, make noise and lots of support.
