Thank You! – Inaugural Cuala Gala Dinner

Cuala hosted our inaugural Gala Dinner in Fitzpatrick’s Killiney Castle Hotel on Saturday 7th February and it was a huge success! Not only did we raise a significant amount for our Pitch in for Cuala campaign, it was a fantastic opportunity for members of the club, old and new, to get together for some food, awards, dancing and fun.

There are many people to thank for making the night a success, in particular the Gala Dinner Organising Committee led by Assistant Secretary Rónán Ó Muirthile and including Angi Crispe, Cera Healy, Conor McDermott, Dermot Malone on sound, signage and more, Ann Tynan who organised the silent auction, Sharon Foley for leading the raffle and Meadhbh Ní Fheinneadha and Suzanne Brady on comms.

Thank you to Blathnáid Ní Cofaigh who did a fantastic job as MC for the night, the staff of Fitzpatrick’s Castle who ran a seamless operation on the night, and to everyone who helped with setting up and clearing away.

Thank you to our Gala dinner sponsors, Cantor Fitzgerald and all the sponsors of raffle prizes and lots for the silent auction. You can find a full list of sponsors in the Cuala Newsletter. Thanks also to Brian Molloy (Camogie Association), Ken O’Sullivan (Cuala dn Dublin GAA County Board) and Lorraine Hall (DLRCoCo), for attending and supporting the night.

Most of all we want to thank you, our members who supported the event on the night and made it a huge success. We hope you enjoyed it!
