Give Respect, Get Respect

Cuala follows the GAA Give Respect Get Respect initiative which seeks to ensure that Gaelic Games are promoted and played in a positive, fair and enjoyable manner where players, coaches, spectators and referees Give Respect – Get Respect from each other. Now that adult, juvenile and Go Games matches are in full swing, please remember that everyone on our sidelines should abide by the Give Respect Get Respect principles:

Players should not be shouted at, or criticised. A positive sideline delivers better on-field decisions.

Respect ALL Referees and mind our own underage referees. Don’t allow anyone to abuse them. Call it out.

Team Mentors are volunteers, not paid professionals. Support them, don’t criticise them, and don’t undermine them in front of players or parents.

Coaches and Mentors lead by example and Parents/Guardians be positive, be supportive, be fair.

Cuala abú!
