With Cuala members voting at the recent SGM in favour of proceeding to the next phase of the Home 4 Cuala Clubhouse Redevelopment project, the Clubhouse Redevelopment Subcommittee convened this week to get this phase underway.  A key part of this phase is finalisation of the design specification.

For the original design spec of the new clubhouse building 5 years ago there were over 250 suggestions from 136 members for which facilities should be included and what space should be allocated to them. A number of significant changes were made to the design as a result, including a much larger gym. It was this amended design that was granted planning permission.

We are again looking for member input. This time it is at a more detailed level, including the type of flooring in the sports hall, the fit out of the café, the design of the changing facilities, the features of an AV system, etc.

To facilitate your input, an open day is planned for Saturday 25 January in the clubhouse from 11am-1pm, and we would like to invite you to come along. You will be able to view the plans in details, ask questions on the design, and provide your input into our future Clubhouse
