If the level of joy and enthusiam shown by Cuala’s Academy & Juvenile teams is a measure of future success, then there are going to be many more days like this.  Michael Fitzsimons triumphant return to Hyde Road marked another historic milestone in Cuala’s fantastic journey.  The Dublin No. 2 received a rapturous reception from his club colleagues and the wider Cuala community on Sat 7th.  Michael, accompanied by his Dublin colleague Rory O’Carroll (Kilmacud Crokes) spent the afternoon in the Hall patiently answering questions, signing autographs and posing for photos.  Later in the evening, his footballing colleagues welcomed “Fitzy” and his parents to a social evening in the club where he was presented with a commemorative plaque by Aidan Boyle, Chairman of Adult Football Forum, to celebrate his unique achievents (so far).  You can see pictures of the great day in the latest albums in the Cuala Gallery
