The Cuala Senior Ladies started their season last week in a very tough match in the Division 3 Cup against St Judes A Team. The match took place on the 3rd of April 2013 at Hyde Park, Hyde Road, Co. Dublin. St Judes A Team being the stronger team on the day won the match.
The Cuala Ladies Senior Team now under the new manager of Siobhan Browne had been training very hard during the pre season period. The Cuala Ladies showed a brilliant display of team work and brilliant display of football with some of the Cuala Ladies even playing in new positions. The Cuala Ladies had a lot of ball play but unfortunately could not convert into scores. None the less the Cuala Ladies showed that they are all hard working players and showed how great they are as a team, working together through out the whole match.
The Cuala Ladies now take on Portobello on the 10th of April 2013 at 6:45pm at Portobello GAA grounds off Leinster Road in Rathmines for the first match in the Division 3 League. The Cuala Ladies have always had thrilling matches against Portobello every year. Some matches were won by Portobello and some matches were won by Cuala each year that the two teams have come up against each other and Wednesday will be no different as it will be yet another thrilling match. All support is welcome to cheer on the Cuala Ladies.
