Well done to our Senior Hurlers who came through their Championship semi final against Crumlin in front of a big crowd of supporters at Parnell Park on Saturday.

Barry Connolly scored an incredible 15 point tally, seven of them from play but things were still in the mix when Sean Brennan saved  a penalty three minutes from time.

All eyes are now on the final in two weeks time against Kilmacud Crokes.  This is what being a club member is all about and it was especially encouraging to see a full bus load of our youngest academy members heading off from Hyde Road on Saturday.

Hard Luck to Cian, Colm, Sean, Ross and Jack who had to watch Tipp lift Sunday’s Minor All Ireland Final.  The lads did great all the way through a long campaign but have a long future in the game at club and county level.

Juvenile teams bid farewell to the summer and switch into winter training schedules this week.  Contact your team mentors or check your usual communications channels if you are not sure where and when.

Well done to the U15A’s who travelled to Skerries for their Championship Shield Quarter Final and came away winners by a two point margin.

There was a busy martial arts evening in the club on Saturday night and a boxing evening this coming weekend.  Anyone able to volunteer as a steward for these or for upcoming social nights might contact Adrian or Lorraine through the club.

Tickets are being sold through the club shop for the Scoil Lorcáin Fashion night at Killiney Castle.
