Our Minor A Footballers claimed the “A” Championship with a 2-14 to 1-9 victory after extra time over local rivals Kilmacud Crokes. The lads found themselves reduced to 14 men half way through the 1st half but managed to stay in the game as it finished level at 1-08 a piece at the end of ordinary time. However, the lads back to their full complement of 15 upped the pace in extra time to romp home to a 8 point Victory.
Earlier in the day our Minor B Footballers secured a 3 point win over St. Marks to earn themselves a place in the “D” Championship Final which will take place in 2 weeks time. Our Minor B Hurlers are into the Semi Final of their Championship. What a year for the Cuala Minors…. and it’s not over yet.
