This Sunday, the 3rd of March 2013 sees a major milestone for Camogie in the Club with the first ever Cuala Minor Camogie Team playing their opening fixture in the 2013 Minor Camogie League. The opposition couldn’t be tougher with the girls facing Lucan Sarsfield this Sunday, the 3rd of March 2013 at 11:15am in Meadowvale. As much support is encouraged as possible to cheer the girls on in what will be a thrilling match to watch and a historic event for the club.

In 2012 the girls won the Dublin Under 16 Division 3 League Title. The girls getting the better of Naomh Peregrines, Erin Go Bragh, Ballyboden St Endas B, CastleKnock and Naomh Fionbarra. The girls following a narrow defeat in their opening match in the league went on to win all of their remaining leagues matches.

The girls also had a great run in the B Championship, winning all their matches in the group games beating Kilmacud Crokes, Ballyboden B and Naomh Fionbarra before being unluckily beaten in extra time in the semi final by the eventual winners Lucan Sarsfields B.

The 2013 Minor Panel is made up of 14 of 1996’s and 8 of the 1997’s who were all part of the 2012 under 16 panel and for 2013 they are also joined by 2 of the 1995’s girls. Cuala are joined by Lucan Sarsfield, St Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Ruadh, Naomh Mearnog and Erin Go Bragh in the 2013 Minor Camogie League.
