Cuala Minor Bs got their first win of the season at 12th Lock against a skilful Lucan team. Cianan Crowley, Kevin McHugh, Colin Brock, Fiachra Ó Brolchain and Donal Ennis in the 2nd half together gave a magnificent defensive display while Shane Errity and Oisín Breathnach dominated midfield with Eoin Collopy working tirelessly at centre half forward. Three points from Oisín Misteil, a great point from Shane Moran and a point each from half backs Andrew Brady and Tadhg Blake gave Cuala a five point lead at half time. Cuala upped the pace against the breeze in the 2nd half when a great Shane Moran goal, two points from Eoin Brennan and a few well worked poinst from Maurice Goodwin kept Cuala ahead. Cillian Sullivan added pace up front with Barry Sheanon giving a man of the match performance with a goal and two points. A magnificent save from Briain Ó Ruairc late on kept our goal intact and ensured Cuala ran off deserved winners.
