It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the sad passing of Mary Dunne – whose family have and continue to play vital roles for our club over many decades. Mary herself made an enormous contribution to the day-to-day operation of the club over many years – her welcoming warm smile and friendly nature will be sadly missed by all.
Mary and her husband ‘Pete’ (RIP March 2017) were Cuala stalwarts and they will always be remembered as part of the club’s history. Mary’s energy, dedication and hard work for the club paved the way for women to take a more active role in club affairs.
Mary, devoted mother of Adrian, Derek and Louise , their partners Lorraine, Orla and Phill, and loving grandmother of Jennifer, Aoife, Cillian, Shane, Ciara, Sarah, Aisling and Leo. Mary will be sadly missed by all her family and wide circle of friends.
