Cuala Mini All Ireland
Comórtas Uile-Éireann Cuala
The Cuala Annual Mini All Ireland is the highpoint of the Cuala Academy annual calendar and an event that pulls together the entire Academy of over 600 children, their parents, family and the wider club and community in a week long celebration of hurling, camogie and football. Culminating in a ‘Grand Parade’ and day of Finals in Hyde Road on the Saturday following the week of matches, the day provides entertainment, sport and a ‘summer fair’ atmosphere for over 600 participating children, another 150 adult mentors and coaches and in excess of 2250 attendees. It is a spectacular showcase demonstrating the scale of the Academy and the enjoyment and skills of the kids who participated throughout the year.
Each year/gender is divided into teams. The teams are balanced to allow for maximum enjoyment and participation. Each team is named after a county and each player gets a team t-shirt to wear for the matches. The teams all play a league of football, camogie and hurling games on 2 designated week nights, and again at the fun final day on the Saturday. The Mini All Ireland is a non-competitive and fun event with each team managed by parents. Each child is presented with a commemorative medal on the Saturday.
The 2023 Mini All Ireland took place from June 12th-17th for academy players born in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017. Please see the brochure and gallery below.
