Schools all across the area are abuzz this morning with kids turning up in their favourite sports jerseys in support of Goal. Cuala and Kilmacud shirts were very much in evidence alongside the odd Ireland football and Leinster Rugby jersey.  It’s something of a weekend for sport alright but we know the real main event is at 3.45 in Parnell Park.

The game featured in the Irish Times yesterday with a roadmap of what lies ahead for the soon to be crowned Champions of Dublin as they step forward on the path through Leinster towards Croke Park on St Patricks Day.

There will be buses laid on from the club on Sunday at 1.45. Ticklets for the bus are €5, kids go free.  The admission to Parnell Park itself will cost €15 but you can bring all the kids in for free with you.  The buses will return to the club after to welcome back the lads.

Don’t forget the Festival of hurling taking place across Glenalbyn, Hyde Road and Thomastown over the weekend.  Let’s use this as an opportunity to build long standing relationships between the two clubs, then go out and watch the boys in red and white leave their opponents feeling blue.
