The day is on us.  The Senior Championship Final between Cuala and Kilmacud is right here, right now.  The lads trained at Hyde Road this morning and were a big hit with the smallest members of the club all of whom will be amomg the big, and I mean  very big crowd heading to Parnell Park from Dalkey and everywhere else for the 3.45 throw in at Parnell Park.

So how are you getting there?

If you have booked a seat on one of the number of buses going from Hyde Road, well done.  They are now pretty much all sold out.  Mostly with laughing and singing kids, faces painted in red and white and waving flags like never before.  These will be leaving Hyde Road at 2.30. Not a minute after so if you’ve booked great.  If not…

We are fortunate to live on the Dart line and here are the key times.  Darts leave from Dalkey at 13.31, 13.51, 14.11 and 14.31. The journey is about 40 minutes and the walk from Killester Station to Parnell Park takes between 5 and 10 minutes.  Any later Dart and you will miss the start.  If you are travelling by car, good luck and take care with parking.  It’s a very residential area with lots of driveways and really the dart is your best bet.  Crokes have to live on the Luas so most of them will probably be driving.

Travel safe, wear red and lots of it. Sing, shout, cheer as loud as you can and the next words you read on these pages will hopefully be a winning match report.  Come on you C-U-A-L-A.
