Members may wish to read about GAA’s plan for a fully-integrated administration system which could be a game-changer for club administration – membership registrations, team communications, Player-Injury Fund integration, Covid HQ’s etc – a full integration with the old Servasport system which is now being replaced.
A feature that will be included within the app will allow for secure communication for teams, coaches, players, parents – individual messages can be sent for free in a manner compliant with GDPR and Children First legislation.
” The new Games Management System, called Foireann, which is Irish for Team, introduces new features for Clubs and Members such as self-service registration for individuals and families, on-line payments, streamlined communications, event creation and team management. The functionality outlined in this document is available from the 5th of November, with the online membership subscriptions available from the 30th of November.“
The RTP app is showing some of this functionality already – this will be the preferred GAA app that will be used for all matters associated with club communications/administration go forward.
