Cuala 1999’s Mentor, Eamonn McGuirk and his work colleagues in ISS Facilities Ireland are going to Hell and Back in support of the juvenile cancer charity Aoibheann’s Pink Tie and they are looking for your support.
You’ll all know that Eamonn, a long-time Cuala member, takes great pride in the growth and achievement of our juvenile teams. And yet, he puts the whole thing in perspective when he reminds us – “just imagine if one of our players was unable to enjoy what Cuala has to offer, what if he/she was taken seriously ill with cancer“. So Eamonn and the guys at ISS (Cuala sponsors, by the way) are taking part in the latest Hell & Back “off-road adventure event” in the Belmont Estate in Bray on 15th June. In case you don’t know, HELL & BACK is a mixture of hill run, assault course road race and other tortures with the emphasis on completion rather than on the clock. More details . . .
Aoibheann’s Pink Tie offer practical support to the families of children diagnosed with cancer who are attending Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital. They support the complete family unit including parents and siblings. Please take a few moments to review their site to learn more of the tremendous work they do. More details . . .
