Guests at Cuala’s Christmas Concert were treated to an evening of festive music from all-Ireland Champions on Saturday. The Dublin Concert Band paid their second visit to Hyde Road this year to deliver their unique brand of music – with a little help from an appreciative audience. Cuala specially-selected ladies (“Little Mix”) were edged out by their male competitors (“One Direction”) in a Christmas Carol head-to-head that earned the men copies of the Bands CD “In the Key of DCB“. Well done to all involved in delivering such a special evening.
