The Dermot Earley Youth Leadership programme was launched by Cuala’s All-Ireland winning Captain Paul Schutte on Friday 4 Oct. Paul shared with his own sense of leadership and his personal journey including the highs of All-Ireland success and the challenges of injury set-backs along the way. Thirty participants from Cuala, Bray Emmets, Kilmacud Crokes, Naomh Olafs, St Judes and Good Counsel are taking part in the six month programme which is hosted by Cuala in St Colmcille’s School (many thanks to Aidan Boyle). In attendance at the launch were Dermot’s wife Mary and their daughter Ann-Marie Earley who addressed the participants.

The programme is being rolled-out in eight counties this year and Dublin South will be overseen by two new Cuala facilitators- Nicky Spain and Philip Mangan.
