Cuala Hurling will come of ageDub Hurlers V Wex 2014 tomorrow evening at Wexford Park when the Dalkey club supplies 3 key players in the Dublin starting 15 aginst Wexford and boasts another 4 on the panel.

Schutte brothers Paul and Mark both start with Paul moving in at wing back and Mark lining out in the corner forward spot where he featured last year as an impact sub. His speed, strength and skill were major factors in Dublins success and he is rewarded with a start this Saturday evening.

Colm Cronin makes his senior championship debut on the left wing and if his current form maintains we shold see him feature strongly on the score sheet. David Treacy is recovering with quad muscle injury but dont be surprised to see him enter the fray in the second half where he will prove a handfull for even the best of the yellow belly defenders.

You might think that that was fair representation for any club but add in the experienced Oisin Gough, Simon Timlon and the young Cian O Callaghan all who are part of the Dublin set up and you can see that Cuala’s contribution to Dublin hurling is immense. Anthony Daly will rightly take the plaudits if the Dubs win on Saturday but the real credit must go to the Cuala mentors from Acedemy up to juvenile, minor and senior who have nurtured these lads from under 6 mini all ireland to senior intercounty. So take a bow mentors one and all, take a bow and enjoy the fruits of your labour this Saturday evening as it truely is A Great Day for Cuala Hurling.
