Hello Cuala Patrons

Senior footballers were knocked out by a strong Monasterevin team in the Leinster Championship but the Minor A footballers and Hurlers are still going. Read on:

  • Hard luck to the senior footballers who went down to a very strong Monasterevin side last Sunday in Newbridge. In truth Monasterevin always had a better grip on the game and scored some wonderful points. Our cause was not helped by the absence of Mick Fitzsimons due to injury. However, its been a wonderful run and the players need a well deserved rest. Well done to the management team and thanks to the lads for wonderful effort and journey. We look forward to seeing them playing senior football next year.
  • There were mixed fortunes for our Minor Hurling teams at the Weekend, the B’s went down to a strong St. Peregrines side in the Quater Final of their Championship while the A’s had a comfortable 2-22 to 3-7 win away to St. Judes in the group stage of the A Championship. The A Hurlers next outing is in 2 weeks time againts St Brigids in their final Group stage game. Next Sunday the Minor A Footballers take on a much fancied Kilmacud Crokes side in the Quarter Final of the A Football Championship in Silver Park at 11am. All support welcome.
