It would be great if we can get as many club members to be the 16th player for each of the teams.
The Minor A Camógs are in action as well on Sunday morning, at home to Raheny in Meadowvale with a 10 AM throw-in.
Good luck to all our teams in action.
WE BUILD OUR HOUSE BRICK BY BRICK BY BRICK
There has been great support all week from teams and groups of friends across the club banding together to buy a brick to bring our #Home4Cuala dream to life.
Love your team, make your mark on history by getting together.
If there are 50 of you across an age group it would only take €20 each to do your bit and there is no age limit on enthusiasm.
Our favourite pledge so far in the past seven days has to be from the 2009 Girls who have done their bit by putting their Brick in the Wall.
email buyabrick@cualagaa.ie to say you’re in. Click on the tweet below to hear the girls sing out loud and proud for Cuala.
REMEMBERING THOSE WE HAVE LOVED AND LOST
Each year at this time we remember all those who we have lost over the past 12 months, and for this year over the past two years.
The Cuala Mass will take place in the Cuala Hall at 7-30 on Monday night, all in a very socially distanced fashion, with face masks.
We all know someone, a friend, a family member, someone who meant a lot and this is a lovely way to remember them.
If you’d like to make a late addition to the list we will recall fondly on the night please email chairperson@cualagaa.ie
AGM SEASON
The club AGM will take place on Tuesday 30th November at 8 PM., currently scheduled for the Royal Marine Hotel.
Details for the club AGM can be found on the website including nominations for positions in the club.
Your support and attendance is voluntary in the same way that it is voluntarily that the offices, coaches, jersey washers, pitch liners and everyone else involved in the club step forward.
There is a line in the handbook for the current Dermot Earley course that talks about how every community is like a ship, which sails best when everyone is willing to take their turn at the wheel.
A warm welcome to Aisling Fay, the new Chair and John Lane the new treasurer of the Women’s section. Huge thanks to Jim O’Toole and Collette Langan who are stepping down this year, from officer positions at least…
No reports from the Academy AGM as yet but happy to report any points from that if you can let us know.
The Juvenile Girls AGM will be on Tuesday 23rd at 8-30 via Zoom.
DRUMMO’S SHOT PUTT SKILLS TO FORE
Seàn came second in the shot putt competition that the National Rehabilitation Hospital held last week for their sports day. As competitive as ever, Seàn is never satisfied coming second!!
As if that was not enough, he is about to hit another milestone – staying at home for the first time this weekend.
This is another big step on Seàn’s journey to return home full time.
Thank you for your unwavering support on the Go Fund Me page.
HERE COME THE GIRLS

ROYAL MARINE SET SAIL WITH US AGAIN
The Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire is delighted to renew its partnership with Cuala GAA and the Adults Men’s Football Section of the club.
The relationship which began in 2016 is an important one for the team at the Royal Marine Hotel in their efforts to support GAA in the local community and the Cuala is your Club ethos.
“The Royal Marine Hotel and the Neville family are once again pleased to support the Cuala adult men’s football section and the wider Cuala community,” said General Manager Aidan Ryan.
“The renewal of this valued partnership which includes mentoring opportunities for Cuala Players as well as financial support coincides with the culmination of this seasons Club GAA action with three Cuala Adult men’s teams in championship final action this weekend.
Massive thanks again to the team at the Royal Marine,
