Congratulations to the Cuala Coaching Department on organising a very successful and well attended Coaching Convention held in Cuala last Saturday with over 55 coaches in attendance. Particular thanks due to Denis Monaghan, Ken Fitzgerald, Caroline Kenny, Susan in the office and Alison Treacy in the bar. Thanks also to minor and U21 players for their assistance. Congratulations to Oisin Gough who has been elevated onto the Dublin Senior Hurling panel and joins Rob Reid there.

There is a 1998 parents meeting and introduction to basic skills of football and hurling in Scoil Lorcain this Saturday morning from 10 to 12.

The Camogie girls team will have a squad meeting in the club house next Tuesday 22nd at 7pm.

Cuala is calling all Gaelgeoirs to participate in a team Table Quiz, Scór Ath Cliath on behalf of the club. The preliminary round of this All-Dublin competition takes place at Naomh Olaf next Wednesday 23rd at 8:30pm. Cuala Academy starts back this Saturday 19th – some different arrangement summarised below 2002 will train in the hall at 9:30am 2001s will resume training on Saturday 26th January temporarily at the BluePool Astro-Turf pitches in Monkstown 9:15-10:30am for 3 weeks until Sat 9th Feb. 2000s will resume football training on Saturday 19th January at the BluePool Astro-Turf pitches in Monkstown starting at 10:15am until 9th Feb. 2000s will resume mid-week hurling on Tuesday 22nd 6-7pm in Loreto Dalkey.
