The U10s (1998) Camogie team make their competitive debut against Crumlin in Meadowvale on Sunday morning at 10am. Good luck girls. Senior hurlers play Crumlin in Div 1 league on Saturday next at 4:30 in Pearse Park and play away on Sunday to Kilkenny team in Leinster league. Note times and venues may change
Senior Camogie Girls have their first match of the season v Ballinteer St. Johns in Marley Park on Sunday 30th March. Throw in 11am.

Congratulations to Jake Malone, Shane Murphy and Daithi O’Murchú who were key members of the South Dublin Football team who won the Ahearne Memorial cup in Naomh Mearnog on Saturday. Two South Dublin teams made it to the final. Hard luck to Con O’Callaghan who was on the losing team. Nice pictures in the Herald on Tuesday and not a North side team in sight!
Good news – Part VIII(planning permission) for Hyde Park was approved by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Co Co on Wednesday. This will allow for lights, back-nets and pitch upgrade for the main Cuala pitch and for the building of a new shared all-weather. Thanks to the local Councillors for greatly assisting Cuala with this hugely important development.
The long-awaited dressing-rooms for Thomastown are being built off-site by the supplier at the moment and should be in place by end of May-08.
Kick-boxing tournament in the Hall last Saturday was very successful with the place packed to the rafters. Such events are vital sources of revenue to the club. Well done to the Bar Committee for a great event.

Well done to Oisin Gough on being awarded a GPA third-level scholarship – the only Dublin player to do so. The scholarships were awarded using funds from the sale of Club Energiser soft drinks.
