Congratulations to mentors John Treacy, Willie Braine and all the U-12 hurlers who had a magnificent victory over St. Judes in the Cup Final last Saturday morning.

There were also good wins over the weekend for the U-11s against Lucan and the U-13s against St. Vincents.

The Academy Mini All-Ireland starts tonight with the finals to be played on Saturday at 11AM followed by the 1998’s Mini final at 2PM in Thomastown.

Well done to Patsy Greene and everyone involved in arranging the Golf Classic which was a huge success despite the bad weather.

There is an open invitation to all club members to Willie Braine’s 40th Birthday party in the hall on Friday 29th June.

Hard luck to the intermediate footballers whose championship aspirations ended on Saturday evening with a narrow defeat by Garretstown.

Best of luck to the Senior hurlers who play Naomh Mearnog this evening in Shankill and St Vincents away on Saturday evening.

The Junior hurlers also have a league game this evening in shankill. All support welcome.

All Ladies Football matches last week were postponed apart from the U12s who won their match against St Brigids (3-04 to 1-05).
