Bank holiday weekend nearly upon us, dont forget to put the clocks back
Congratulations to the Cuala 1997 girls who captured the first title for the Cuala Juvenile Girls section with a hard fought two point win against Ringsend side Clan Na Gael in Pairc Ui Tuaithail last Sunday. The victory was all the sweeter considering Cuala almost didn’t enter a team at this grade at the start of the year due to the small number of eligible players and it shows what rewards hard work and determination can bring. In front of a big contingent of Cuala supporters the girls came out on top by 2-11 to 4-3. Well done to the management team of Linda Farren, Donal Dunne and Fiona Ross. See the juvenile girls calendar on the website for full details of this and all games www.calendarwiz.com/cualagirls. No games this Bank Holiday weekend.
The date of the Juvenile Boys AGM has been switched to Thursday, November 12th at 2030 in the Cuala Bar. We would like as many parents from each group to attend, as well as all the mentors and managers that have put in so much effort throughout the year.
The Cuala U11 Hurlers had two good wins over Ballyboden St Enda’s in Division 1 and St Peregrines in Division 3 last weekend.
