No shortage of action this week.If weather conditions don’t improve soon we will be playing on Christmas day:

Pole position this week goes to the U11 A Footballers have a play off for the Division One League title against St Judes at Clonkeen College at 11am on Saturday morning. The lads earned home advantage for this one off decider and would really appreciate if any parents and kids at a loose end because of possible abandonments elsewhere could help to make it count and show what a strong club we are in support of all our teams.

Congratulations to Barbara, Donal and the 1998 girls team who had a great victory over Clontarf last Saturday in the U11 D1 Football Shield final It was the Juvenile Girls section’s second title in the last 3 weeks! This weekend it’s the turn of the 1996s when they play Clontarf in the D2 Football Shield Final on Sunday. The 96s are also scheduled to play their final camogie league game on Saturday away to Castleknock, a win should see them take runners up spot in D3.

The Juvenile Girls Sponsored Walk is also on this Saturday 14th November, leaving Hyde Park at 2.00pm.

The youth club won’t be on this Friday as we have dont have enough volunteers. In order for it to continue we need to set up a panel of volunteers where we could draw up a rota to help each Friday it is on. Please see if you could possibly help out here.

Our condolences to the Doran Family on the passing of Gerry Doran. Gerry was a great supporter of Cuala for many years and will be sorely missed. Funeral mass Friday 10am in Dalkey followed by burial in Shanganah cemetery.

Great news – the planning application to allow floodlighting in Hyde Park has been passed.
