Well done to the Junior Hurlers, winners of their league last Sunday week in Shankill, pictures on the Cuala website This team topped the league and then won a league final (top 2 teams playoff). Final score Cuala 4-7, Naomh Barrog 1-7.Excellent performances by Gary Loonam, Brian Sexton, Ronan Hayes,Willie Braine, ken Fitzgerald, Jack McKenna & Sean Moran. And of course all under the excellent tutelage of Brian Reidy.
As I’m sure are all aware, the Cuala AGM has been deferred until Tuesday 7th December. Hopefully we will be back from Antartica at that point.

Athletic Development Workshop for All Cuala Coaches in Cuala GAA Hall on Thursday 9th December 2010 from 8pm to about 10.30. A theory and practical workshop focusing on Strength & Conditioning for the young and developing player (Academy-Minor) it really is relevant to all coaches regardless of their squad’s age and all coaches will benefit from the material . To book your place please email cualacoaching@live.ie, or call/text 086-0266506 before 9pm on Friday 3rd December. Cost 10 euro per head which will be paid by your relevant section/age group.
The Adult section quiz planned for Friday night (3rd December ) is canceled due to the weather.
Lastly, on a positive note, still going ahead is the Cuala Juvenile Parent and Mentors Evening planned for Friday night. It starts at 8:30pm with a meal planned for 10pm so come along for a bit banter and maybe a sing-song.
