Cuala Camogie girls triumphed over Ballinteer St.Johns in a fiercely contested match to claim the Junior camogie Shield. Super displays from Niamh O’Connor and Audrey Bermingham who was voted Player of the Match. Team would like to thank all their loyal supporters who cheered them all the way!
Senior hurlers are on a roll! They had a fine win over much-fancied K.Crokes team last weekend in the Championship. Cuala ran out winners on a score-line of 1.14 to 0.14. Great performances from the halfback line of Reid,Brown and Holden not to mention super sub David Treacy scoring 2 fine points in 2nd half. Last night they beat a Divsional South team in Parnell park and are through to the next round of the championship and meet O’Tooles on Sunday in O’Toole Park at 2pm.Well done lads!
Junior Hurlers are in the Championship final on Sunday at 12:00 in O’Toole Park against Liffey Gaels. Supporters required! U16s Hurlers in ‘B’ championship final vs Na Fianna at 2pm this Saturday in Parc Barrog (4min walk from Howth Junction Dart Station) – good luck to Shay Hayes , Finbarr Murphy and all the team.
Minor B hurlers through to final of Championship – well done lads. Minor A footballers play championship semi-final against St.Brigids at 10:30am O’Toole Park next Sunday.
U13B Footballers had another great league win over Castleknock last weekend to remain unbeaten in the league.
There is a Boxing Tournament in the Hall this Saturday night, admission is €5 – Borough of Dun Laoghaire Boxing Club versus a Dublin Selection. Door open at 8pm.
Cuala Sessions continue with another traditional music night on Saturday 13th October in the bar. Musicians will play from 9:30pm til late. All welcome to join in.
