Once again the weather played havoc with the fixtures last weekend so short one for you this week. But Croke Park did not disappoint on Saturday night:

  • Congratulations to Cuala Senior Footballer Michael Fitzsimons on being awarded the Allianz Man of the Match last weekend in Croke Park playing for Dublin against Cork in the National Senior Football League. Michael & his Cuala Senior Football team mates kick off their 2011 League Campaign against St John’s Ballinteer in Marley Park this Sunday at 10.30. All Support Welcome.
  • Also kicking off their League Campaign this Sunday are our other three Adult Football teams AFL 6 –v- Fingalllians Hyde Road, Dalkey @ 12.00, AFL 9 –v- Beann Eadair, Howth @ 15.00 & AFL 11S –v- Garda Hyde Road, Dalkey @ 15.00
  • See the brochures (attached) for the upcoming Academy Casino night. All the details are contained within and as the past years have shown us, a great night is guaranteed!
  • For the first time ever, Cuala is fielding a Ladies Football Minor team. Our Division 1 League season kicks off on Saturday afternoon with a tough match against Ballyboden set for 3pm in Hyde Pk. Good Luck to all involved.
  • The Senior Hurlers got the year off to a good start last Sunday by beating Crumlin in the first round of the Boland Cup.However they were beaten on Tuesday night by Na Fianna in the outstanding game of the 2010 Senior A League,Unfortunately this means relegation to Senior B League for the coming season. Training continues Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturday mornings.
  • Good luck to all the lads and lassies facing into the mocks over the coming weeks. At least closed pitches means you have more time for study, right?

Hopefully this weekend will see more games
