Hello Cuala Patrons, Our Senior footballers are hoping that Christmas comes early this year and you can assist :

  • Best of luck to our senior footballers who are looking to take the final step to promotion to Division 1 in 2015 by winning their  league play-off  against Lucan. Game is fixed for Sunday 30th 11am in Bray Emmets ground. This will be followed by the 2nd team’s play off promotion semi-final vs Lusk at 12:30pm. Massive games so please support.
  • Our minor camogie team won their first two group games in the minor championship over the last week. Wins against Commercials and Naomh Olaf guarantee the minor girls a semi final spot. The final group game on Sunday against Kilmacud in Meadow Vale will determine the finishing places with the semi final (and hopefully final) being played during the following week.
  • Club AGM is on 3rd Decembmer in Fitzpatricks hotel, Killiney Castle. An AGM page  – https://cualagaa.ie/coiste/agm/ – has now been updated with Motions, Games Reports & Nominations A  copy of the draft financial accounts will be available for inspection on

  • Academy Christmas Raffle Tickets, priced €2 each, will be sold by our young Academy members from next week. Some great prizes were donated with the help of Academy parents:-

    • 6 bottles of wine boxed from Clancy Business Solutions
    • Many more seasonal prizes of chocolates, tins of biscuits, bottles of spirits etc.
    • Seller’s prize of a €25 voucher from Grandstand Sports. Special thanks to Peter Carroll of cloud9 Graphic Solutions for printing the tickets.  The raffle will take place at the Academy Christmas party on 13th December so please support this fundraiser by buying a ticket.
  • Go n-éirí go geal le Scoil Lorcáin le hAonach na Nollag i mbliana a bheidh i Halla Cuala, Deilginis ar an 7 Nollaig 2-5 in.  Tá fáilte roimh bhaill Cuala cuairt a thabhairt agus cúpla focal Gaeilge a labhairt.  Beidh Daidí na Nollag sa Mhol Thuaidh thuas ar an bpáirc, beidh Daidí an Bhia Philip Shaffrey ina phobal lasmuigh, beidh tae agus bonnóg le fáil i gCaifé Lorcáin agus an halla lán le bronntanais dheasa. Wishing Scoil Lorcáin the best of luck with their annual Aonach na Nollaig. The fair will be held in Cuala this year on 7th December 2-5pm and all Cuala members and their families are invited. Take a trip up to the pitch to North Pole and visit Santa or ramble around the hall to find some seasons bargains or pop into the bar for some homemade apple pie and an Irish coffee. Dont forget to visit the food tent outside where the fabulous Philip Shaffrey will be showing off his culinary skills.
  • There will be a Cake and Craft sale on Saturday  29th November from 10am to 1pm in Our Lady’s Hall, Main Street Dalkey. All monies raised go towards creating a better service for people with Intellectual Disabilities at Carmona Services in Glenageary.
  • Another lost helmet, this one red & White with the name Will Fitzgerald on the side. Lost in Hyde Rd recently but sorely missed. Please contact Lucinda on 087 7971528. Just as well heads are attached to little bodies!.
