Hello Cuala Patrons

Section AGMs are in full flight and the playing season is over for many groups.  So time to elect new committees and start the planning work for next year:

  • Hard luck to the Minor Ladies football who lost their final last Sunday to St Pat’s, Donabate. It was a thrilling match and the girls were unfortunate not to come away with a win, loosing by 2 points. Thanks to all the travelling supporters who added to the atmosphere.
  • Great to see the 3rd Adult Hurling team winning their ‘top of the table’ clash with Ballinteer. The panel took the League honours unbeaten, and achieved promotion. Well done to all involved.
  • Hard luck to the Minor A-footballers who were beaten by Crokes by 3 points in the Championship. Injuries were the chief culprit in halting progress to the semi-final but the team gave a gutsy display and were in hunt right up to the final whistle. The Minor Bs fared better against St.Patrick with a 5-21 to 2-8 victory. The Minor B hurlers are also throught to the smeinfinal of the C-championship despite losing by 2 points last night to O’Tooles.
  • The U21 hurlers are out this Saturday with the As facing Lucan and the Bs facing Raheny in St Anns Park at 2:30 (weather permitting). Check before you travel.
  • Míle buíochas le gach duine a tháinig go dtí Céilí na Samhna.  Bhain gach duine taitneamh as an oíche.  Comhghairdeas le Muintir English as Comórtas na bPuimcíní a bhuachaint.
  • The Annual Mass for deceased members will be held on Wednesday 19th at 8pm in the Clubhouse.
  • Don’t forget the Club AGM will held on Wednesday December 3rd at 8pm in the Killiney Castle. All adult members are welcome to attend.

All for this week
