Busy weekend ahead with first Feile action, intercounty minor hurling championship and penultimate rounds of National League:
- The Cuala Awards Night was held last Saturday to a sell out crowd in the Cuala Hall. Well done Damien McKeown and Orla Dunne for organising. - Cuala Golf classic is not far away now – 2nd of May in Glen of the Downs. This fundraiser is to support the Adult Hurling teams. Your support for this event will be deeply appreciated. Cost per Team of 4: €240, including a meal, Hole Sponsorship: €100, Corporate Team: €340 (includes hole sponsorship). Competition Format: Team of Four, Scramble format. Each player to provide 2 drives. Handicaps: Maximum men’s non-GUI handicap is 18. Maximum Ladies non-GUI handicap is 26.

- Best wishes to our Cuala 2000 girls who participate in the year’s Dublin Football Feile at the weekend. Cuala play in Division 4 of 7 and are grouped with Lucan Sarsfields, Na Fianna B and Foxrock Cabinteely B. Cuala’s games will be played in Naomh Mearnóg’s grounds in Portmarnock on Saturday and as much support as possible is requested. Cuala play Lucan Sarsfields at 10am, Na Fianna B at 11.30am and Foxrock Cabinteely B at 1pm. Keep an eye on the Cuala Facebook page and Twitter account over the weekend for the latest girls Feile news.
- Well done to the Minor Ladies who had another great win on Monday night in a hard fought victory over Scoil Ui Chonaill. The girls put in a superb team display. Next match is on Monday night away to Naomh Pereigrines.
- Before his departure to Australia Dan Keating couldnt resist playing just one more match for Cuala when he lined out for the 3rd Hurling Team who recorded a strong win over Raheny. - Good luck to Jake Malone and Con O’Callaghan when they line out for the Dublin Minor Hurlers on Sunday at 3pm against Wexford in first round of minor championship. Venue is Piercetown
