Hello Cuala Patrons

Season has started for the juveniles and Adult sections but expect a lot of pitch cancellations this weekend so check before you travel:

  • Congratulations to Eimear Loughlin from the 99s girls who is on the Dublin u14 panel.  The team begin their Leinster Championship campaign with an away match against Westmeath on March 1st.
  • Dublin Ladies Gaelic are organising a Grab Your Whistle ref course on February 23rd in Naomh Olaf.  All the details are available on www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie
  • Don’t forget the adult ladies and minors section are fundraising by recycling unwanted  items.  Bring items down to Hyde Park between 2pm and 3pm on Saturday 23rd February 2013.  Arrangements can be made to collect and store bags before this.   • Cuala Take Me Out 2014? takes place on Friday the 28th of February with tickets costing €12. If you want to guarantee you’ll be there, send an email to cualaadultfootball@gmail.com with your name, number of tickets required and a contact number.
  • Hyde Park will be busy this Sunday as the Adult footballers start their league campaign with a home fixture.  The seniors are on at 10:30 against Fingal Ravens while the Junior As play at 12:00 against Naomh Barrog. The Junior Bs are away to St Annes in Bohernabreena while its back to Hyde Park for the Junior Cs at 2:30p.m. against Cabinteely. Hope the pitch is playable!
  • You may have heard that the club is participating in the National GAA Draw which is a way for clubs to fund-raise without some of the hassles of organising etc. Still have to buy the tickets though and all funds go to the club.
