U13 are kingpins this week. Bs had a great win over Na Fianna in a top of the table clash last Saturday in Mobhi Rd. Our boys started badly and were 1.01 down after 5 mins but went on to win 8-6 to 6-4. Great result for our boys who now sit top of the table.

The U13As play Templeogue on Saturday 2:30pm in Thomastown in a big game. Cuala lads are top of the table leading Crokes by 1 point with one game to play.No pressure boys!

U12A and U11As have big clashes this weekend against Kilmacud in football.

Good luck to U12 girls who play Na Fianna in the league final play-off on Saturday. Venue is Frank Kelly Park (B’Boden Wanderers Grounds) starting at 1.30pm. Supporters required!
The U21s are in action in the 1st Round of the hurling Championship against Ballinteer, Saturday at 2:30 in Marlay Pk.

Commiserations to our lads in Clonkeen College who were narrowly beaten by Oatlands in the Colleges Final on Tuesday. And no, I’m not going to mention the referee

Cuala Camogie Girls had a very successful AGM in the club last Tueday 13th. In a very well attended meeting the following officers were elected for the coming year Pamela Howard (chairwoman), Moya Donoghue (Secretary), Sheila Wallace (Treasurer), Miamh O’Connor, Bernie Kehoe and Fintan Quill (Committee Members). Well done to you all!

Adult Games AGM is on Tuesday 20th

Over 50 people ‘stepped out’ and attended the Set Dancing organised by Coiste Cultúrtha last Sunday. Same next Sunday starts 8pm. Great exercise, music and craic.

Clonkeen College Thousandaire table quiz in aid of Ethiopia is on Thu 22nd in the hall. Tickets €15 per person or €60 per table from the Bar or Peadar (087-2345393)

Bluegrass music session next Wednesday 23rd start 9:30pm in the bar. Admission is free!

Cuala AGM is on Tuesday 4th December, motions and nominations for positions on Coiste to be sent in writing to Secretary before mid-night on Sunday 18th. Nominations have to be formally proposed and seconded by full members.

Supply of O’Briens hurleys have arrived in the shop “for Christmas”. You might want to buy extra rolls of wrapping paper though!

Lastly to those using Loreto, please do not park in the Convent, try to park on Harbour Rd and walk the kids in. At peak time (6ish) its a zoo! The roadway beyond the barrier will be available for mentor parking. Lets respect this wonderful facility and do our bit.
