Hello Cuala Patrons

Clocks back, Halloween upon us and the games season coming to a close for many teams:

  • Ba mhaith le Grúpa Cailíní 2004 buíochas a ghabháil le gach duine a d’fhreastal ar Chéilí na Samhna.  Baineadh an-taitneamh as an oíche.  Comhghairdeas le Muintir Saunders as Comórta Puimcín Cuala a bhuachaint agus le Clodagh Ní Fhéich as an Comórtas Feisteas Bréige a bhuachaint.
  • Saturday at 1pm in Pc Ui Mhurchu, Ballyboden, sees the Under 15 girls in the Division 1 Football Shield final against the hosts. The 1998s are looking to add the football title to the camogie equivalent, secured 2 weeks ago, and all support would be welcome as the girls seek this notable double.
  • The U16A and B Boys football training continues every Tuesday at 9pm in Stepaside in preparation for the move to minor next year.
  • The Minor A hurlers were narrowly beaten by Crokes in the Championship last Sunday. In difficult conditons, Cuala were down 11 points at half-time only to show true grit and work their way back into the game. With the last puck of normal time, the teams were level. Crokes were strongher in the extra time and finished out 2 point winners.
  • The Minor footballers are in A-Championship action on Sunday 10:30 in O’Toole Park. All support is very welcome. The Bs are not playing this week but are also in both semi-finals
  • Well done to the Senior hurlers on winning their relegation battle against Naomh Fionnbara while the senior footballers are through to the B-championship final – awaiting a fixture.
  • The Adult Games Section will hold the AGM next Monday, 04/11/13, at 8:00 p.m in Cuala.
  • Don’t forget the Cuala Social on Friday 1st November (we need helpers!) and the Murder Mystery on Saturday night.

Happy Halloween
