Hello Cuala Patrons
Games a bit in short supply as exam break kicks in for many in the Juvenile and Minor sections:
- Adult Hurling teams are in action this weekend. The Seniors have a key clash versus Lucan in Shankill at 11am while the Juniors are away to Scoil Ui Chonaill.
- Get ready for the Mini All Ireland’s. Boys and girls from U6 up (and up goes a fair way with the Gaelic4Dads tournament) will be in action from Monday 17th to Saturday 22nd June.
- Ken Fitz will be in Cuala from 4.30 to 6.30 doing gym programmes for the 97 boys for the next four weeks. If any of the juvenile or minor players feel like dropping in to puck/kick a ball or just hang around the place they will be more than welcome. This is an informal, unstructured attempt to encourage our teenagers to see the club as theirs and to learn to respect it as such.
- For the remainder of the Summer the Cuala Shop will only open on a Tuesday evening by appointment with either Ann Maire 086 2263250 or Nuala 087 9766252. We will make ourselves available for any team or member that need to place orders or just get something for themselves. The shop will still open as normal on a Saturday morning.
- A wallet was lost in Thomastown last Wednesday. If anyone has info please contact Barry on 086-6031752
- Some U14s tagged recently representing Dublin in Kilkenny hurling tournament. From left Rory McMahon, Diarmuid O’Floinn, Mark Treacy and Cormac Quinn. Patrick Byrne was also there but missed the photo.
- Thanks to all who helped out at the water station at the Mini Marathon. A great Cuala team effort and a great day.
All for this week
