Hello Cuala Patrons

Short one for you this week as most juveniles are off :

  • Cuala Primary Schools Blitz and mini-All Irelands kick off next week in Thomastown and Hyde Park respectively. So if you are out and about drop in and see the next generation as they
  • Excellent win for u14 A footballers against Raheny last Saturday in the First Division by 9-12 to 1-6. Cathal MacDonald captained the team in what we hope won’t be his last game wearing the red and white of Cuala. Cathal and his family departed Ireland on Tuesday to move to Australia for a couple of years and we wish them every happiness and success.
  • Cuala Senior Hurlers play an important league match against Whitehall Colmcilles in Shankill on Wednesday next, 22 June at 19:30. All support is greatly appreciated! Then on Saturday (25 June), the hurlers are away to Oliver Plunketts at 18:30 in Martin Savage Park. If you can make it, we’d like to see you there!
  • Cuala is now sporting a bright new image.  We’ve just launched our re-vamped website which has a host of new features.  But dont take my word for it – feast your eyes on this at https://cualagaa.ie/2011/06/a-site-for-sore-eyes/ . Many helped but most credit must go to Michael Goodwin who has done sterling work over many months to bring the website to this stage.
  • Dont forget Saturday June 18th – Cuala Charity Disco. Proceeds to Action Breast Cancer. DJ and Full Bar. Only €10 and you can pay at the door. Come along after the Dublin Match (to celebrate)

All for this week.
