A Cuala TY group has volunteered in Zambia since 2016 until the interruption over the last couple of summers. Cuala proposes resuming this trip in the summer of 2023. Unlike in previous years Cuala will not be partnering with Habitat for Humanity. We will be partnering directly with Nsobe Community School in Zambia . All the previous Cuala groups have visited Nsobe during their stay over the years and we have had two Cuala adult building trips at the school, most recently in July 2022.
For now you are invited to register an interest in participating in this trip which will take place from the (provisional dates only) 5th-20th June 2023. Applicants must be active members of Cuala and at least 16 years of age on the 1st of June 2023. The cost per person will be at least €3,000 per volunteer. A planned information evening will provide all the information required so you can decide if this is for you. Please note that this venture will not be as big a group as in recent years, so it is possible that not everyone who expresses an interest will secure a place.
