Fundraising is in full swing
We are delighted to report that fundraising is in full swing. Over the last week, we have received many donations, including 8 for €1,000, 3 for €5,000, 2 for €10,000 and 1 for €25,000! This is a fantastic start, and a sincere thank you to all of you that have donated over the last two weeks.
Standing Order Option
We completely understand that a large one-off donation may not be possible from everyone, and we would be delighted to receive any donation you feel you could make on a monthly basis instead. There is a standing order form you can complete for any amount you are able to donate on the Cuala website here.
Interest Free Loan
We have also received an extremely generous €500,000 interest free loan from a “friend of Cuala”. This money will be used to develop the lower pitches and reduces our need to raise loans or donations from the GAA, government or other sources. It doesn’t change our members donation target – but it’s a phenomenal vote of confidence in our project.

We need you to donate – NOW
We need funding now to make this project happen. Please make the decision to donate now – rather than later. We are very grateful to the following Cuala donors who have taken the time to explain why they were more than happy to invest in “Our Facilities, Our Kids, Our Success”.
“I am giving to the Cuala Stradbrook fundraising because I have two sons in the 2003 and 2006 teams who have learned a whole new range of skills and new friend since joining Cuala. The current range of facilities are really not adequate – and I believe the club needs better facilities for our kids . I think the Stradbrook project would deliver huge benefits immediately and in the long term. I want to help and so I donated because I know it takes money to make a difference and make this change a reality.”, Joey Mason, parent of 2 kids in academy section.
“The Cuala Stradbrook project is a great opportunity to invest in much needed playing facilities – which will assist the development of our players. In Cuala, we are very fortunate to have a large young membership, It is incumbent on us to provide the best opportunity for our youth to flourish“, Paddy Murdock, senior player, manager with young future Cuala stars.
