Cuala Lads representing their County performed well in The Celtic Challenge, the new hurling championship, with 1000 participants from all counties.
Kevin Kirwan, Cormac Spain and Michael Conroy can be rightly proud that they were part of the only County U16 team to take part in the U16/17 tournament, coming second in their group stages table and only narrowly losing by one point to County Offaly on Wednesday night.

This was enough to win them a quarter final place this Saturday.
