Cuala’s U11 girls put in a great performance to beat a fine raheny side 5-1 to 3-3 at Thomastown on Sunday morning. Goala from Molly, Claire and Gráinne as well as a long distance point from Rachel secured a half time lead with Susan in goals making two fine saves from Raheny.
In the second half Ciara, and Molly B at the back were like tigers while Ríona was showing that defensive tenacity runs in the family. Emma and Molly L up front were winning great ball and setting up two more goals for Grainne and Sarah.
This was a second hard fought win in a row for the team who are learning quickly how to come out the right side of well matched games.
