The U16 semi-final of the all-Ireland Ladies Football championship took place in Moate, Co. Westmeath between Dublin and Galway today. Cuala were represented on the Dublin team by Billie-Kate Huggard and Hannah O’Dea.

Billie-Kate Huggard playing left half forward scored a goal. Hannah O’Dea played very well in many positions throughout the match starting in left corner back.
The match went to extra time and the stamina and fitness of the Dublin girls carried them through to the finish.
The girls will meet Cork In the final on Sunday 31st August.
There were many Cuala supporters there to cheer on the girls.
The final score was Dublin 6-12, Galway 4-13.
